About Me:

I currently reside in the Santa Clarita Valley with my two beautiful children.  

My professional background includes: Medical Assistant for 6 years, currently for the past 7 years I have
been working with students in the Special Education program that suffer from emotional and physical
disabilities, and a variety of volunteer work with my children and the community. Infant, child, and adult
CPR certified. Working towards completing my lactation and Labor Doula certification.

Realizing that my true passion was helping others, I decided to pursue the certification process to
become a full time postpartum and labor doula.  This will allow me to work with and support new families
to help make their transition into parenthood as easy and comfortable as possible.

My postpartum doula services include:
  • Breastfeeding Assistance
  • Education and instruction on newborn care
  • Caring for the new mom
  • Nursery organization
  • Light meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping (including dishes and baby laundry)
  • Supporting and educating the new dad on baby care
  • Teaching swaddling, diapering, bathing techniques, scheduling, etc...

  • Local errands, including grocery shopping

Labor Doula is:

A woman who attends the birthing family before, during, and just after the birth of the baby. The doula is trained
to deliver emotional & physical  support from home to hospital. The doula serves as an advocate, labor coach, and
information sources to give the mother and her partner the added comfort of additional support throughout the
entire labor.

Your labor doula may help you develop a birth plan, teach  visualization, laboring positions, and breathing skills
useful for labor.  Providing you with information on birth options & childbirth classes.
