I currently reside in the Santa Clarita Valley. I have been married since
1992 and have 2 beautiful healthy children.
My professional background includes: Medical Assistant for 6 years,
working with Special Education students with an array of emotional and
physical disabilities, Physical Education Instructor for 7 years, and a
variety of volunteer work with my children and the community. Infant,
child, and adult CPR certified.
Realizing that my true passion was helping others, I decided to pursue the
certification process to become a full time postpartum doula. This will
allow me to work with and support new families to help make their
transition into parenthood as easy and comfortable as possible.
My postpartum doula services include:
- Breastfeeding Assistance
- Education and instruction on newborn care
- Caring for the new mom
- Nursery organization
- Light meal preparation
- Light housekeeping (including dishes and baby laundry)
- Supporting and educating the new dad on baby care
- Teaching swaddling, diapering, bathing techniques to the new family
- Sibling care
- Local errands, including grocery shopping
